About The Shades of Gray

 We formed the Shades of Gray in 2016 with the goal of bringing back the classic sounds from 5 decades of musical experience. With a mix of Classic Country, Classic Rock and Blues music, we draw inspiration from bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, George Strait and various Motown and R&B artist and many more, but with our own unique twist.  

Our talented musicians come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own flair to The Shades of Gray. Together, we strive to create unforgettable performances that engage and entertain our fans.

The Shades of Gray began as a passion project among friends who shared a love for music. Over the years, we have evolved into a dynamic band that blends various genres to create a unique sound that resonates with our audience.

Moe has performed with several groups in the Houston area such as The Legends, Texas Drifters, Funksion, By Request,

The Classix and The Revelators.

Moe’s great stage presence and instrumental ability combine to make him a real showman and a great addition to The Shades of Gray. His vocals and harmonies

are an asset to the band.

Ronnie started his musical journey on the drums, but his true calling turned out to be the guitar. Combined with his vocals he is in integral part of the band. Well known throughout the Houston music scene, when not playing with The Shades of Gray Ronnie is in high demand as a fill in guitarist in just about any musical genre. His talent and dedication are second to none.

Tony has performed with several groups in the Houston area since the late 60’s, groups such as The Noblemen, The Essex, U.S. Air Westwood and PF & The Flyer's just to name a few. Anthony’s stage presence and musical ability combine to make him a real talent and a positive addition to The Shades of Gray.

Tommy has honed his drumming skills by playing many genres of music including Blues, Country, and Rock. Attending clinics and getting private instruction from some world class drummers, his approach to drumming is to keep it simple, yet tasteful, let the music set the mood. He also provides support on vocals with harmony and an occasional Lead
